2nd Monday (quarterly) 7pm in the community room at the Service Center (Nancy Moore Park/Gaylord C. Smith Court)

Mar 12:  Greenscaping with Alicia Bleil, Owner Greenspace Design and Contracting and Becky Jo Farrington, MI Energy Options
  • Creating Landscape designs that use recycled, reused and natural materials as well as native plants as much as possible to create  sustainable, low maintenance landscapes.   Limit  or remove the drug addicted carpet commonly called grass and put the green back into landscaping through reclaimed materials and storm-water management with bioswales, rain gardens, catchment methods, and more.  Learn about the latest "green" landscaping improvements at Michigan Energy Options.

Sep 10:   Community Gardening with Jim Coty, Garden Leader, Northwind Community Garden
